Uwe Rosenberg strikes again: after “All Creatures Big and Small” for “Agricola” and “Inland Port” for “Le Havre”, he now addresses the cave-dwelling population of two-player game enthusiasts with this 45-minute “Caverna” experience for two players aged 12 and up.
In good old worker placement manner, the two opponents contest the action spaces that allow them to improve and develop their little home cave. New caverns must be hollowed out, walls have to be built, and rooms need furnishing. As the proper dwarves they are, they are also prospecting for precious metals to increase their wealth. The tribal elder who can amass the biggest fortune in about 45 minutes wins this dwarf contest!
