Edward Dwurnik jest jednym z najważniejszych i najwybitniejszych powojennych artystów polskich. Studiował malarstwo, grafikę i rzeźbę na warszawskiej Akademii Sztuk Pięknych. W 1965 zetknął się z twórczością artysty-samouka Nikifora Krynickiego i przyjął zbliżony styl obrazowania, który później modyfikował i rozwijał. Prezentowany na puzzlach „Radzymin” powstał w 2017 roku. Jest to ostatnie ujęcie rodzinnego miasta artysty i jeden z ostatnich wielkoformatowych obrazów z najstarszego cyklu malarskiego Dwurnika „Podróże autostopem”.

Edward Dwurnik ist einer der wichtigsten und prominentesten polnischen Künstler der Nachkriegszeit. Er studierte Malerei, Druckgrafik und Bildhauerei an der Akademie der Schönen Künste in Warschau. Im Jahr 1965 kam er mit dem Werk des Autodidakten Nikifor Krynicki in Berührung und übernahm einen ähnlichen Darstellungsstil, den er später modifizierte und weiterentwickelte. Das auf dem Puzzle präsentierte "Radzymin" entstand 2017. Es ist das letzte Bild der Heimatstadt des Künstlers und eines der letzten großformatigen Gemälde aus Dwurniks ältester Gemäldeserie "Per Anhalter unterwegs".

Edward Dwurnik is one of the most important and prominent postwar Polish artists. He studied painting, graphic design and sculpture at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. In 1965 he came into contact with the work of self-taught artist Nikifor Krynicki and adopted a similar style of imagery, which he later modified and developed. The "Radzymin" presented on the puzzle was created in 2017. It is the last shot of the artist's hometown and one of the last large-format paintings from Dwurnik's oldest painting series "Hitchhiking Journeys."
